Fade
A Fade is a knife in the dark, hunting down evil and eliminating the threats that others cannot. Master of subtlety and resistant to the Shadow, a Fade uses the darkness to protect the light.

Rank 1: Steel Resolve
- When you make an Attack-action with a melee weapon, you may choose to take a (flip-1) penalty. If you do, gain +1 Defense until the start of your next action.
Rank 2: Distracted Prey
- When you make an Attack-action against an opponent that you outnumber or that is prone, reduce the number of phases your action takes by 1.
Rank 3: Work Within the Night
- You are always considered to be benefiting from Heavy Cover.
Rank 4: Master of the Hunt
- You can move at your normal speed while using Stealth.
- You do not suffer movement penalties from difficult terrain.
Rank 5: Unite in the Darkness
- While within 5 spaces of you, friendly characters are always considered to be in Soft Cover unless they would benefit from something better instead.
