Entertainer

Whether it’s playing the piano, telling tales, or singing songs, a quality entertainer is in high demand nearly everywhere. The dangers of the Frontier ensure that most entertainers who travel from town to town either know how to take care of themselves or travel with companions who do.

Talents

Rank 1: Bad Company

  • You may spend a minute outside of combat to inspire your allies. Mark a number of allies up to your [MC]. During an encounter, at any time during their action, a character may spend the mark and gain a (flip+1) bonus to a flip.
  • You gain an extra Perform specialization.

Rank 2: The Gambler

  • After this model hits with an attack, it may flip one additional card. If it’s a Heart, it is counted as two Hearts for the purpose of calculating STUN and LETHAL. If the card is anything else, the attack does 1 less Damage.
  • Any time you make a skill flip involving more than one card and each card in the flip is a Two, you may re-flip.

Rank 3: Man in Black

  • You’ve learned the art of showmanship to either draw attention to or away from yourself. As a zero-cost action, you may mark yourself and a target enemy character within your line of sight. At any point during an allied character’s action, if they are engaged with that target enemy character, the allied character may choose to spend the mark to regain 5 STUN. At any point during an allied character’s action, if they are adjacent to you, the allied character may choose to spend your mark to regain 5 STUN.

Rank 4: Ghost Riders

  • You have a talent for feeling out an audience. You ignore all negative modifiers when making Perform checks.
  • In addition to spending a mark for a flip bonus, the mark from Bad Company can also be spent to recover from a Minor condition.
  • While a friendly character has a mark from Bad Company, they gain +1 <SPD>.

Rank 5: Lonesome Ballad

  • A lifetime of travel has taught you many things. You treat all skills as if you had at least one rank.
